On the occasion of the second edition of the MEDports Forum 2018, held in Marseille on February 7-8 2018, I was invited as speaker at a round table devoted to the opportunities offered by the “Belt and Road” initiative to Mediterranean ports. I focused mainly on the BRI network structure and emphasized the impact of this project on emerging economies in Africa and Asia.
