In March 2016, les ateliers Henry Dougier published a special issue of “Mappe”: China a major sea power nation, under the supervision of Prof. Sebastien Colin.
My contribution to this special issue was entitled “Hainan, espace touristique et stratégique” (Hainan, a tourism destination and a strategic place) in which I tried to explain that tourism in Hainan was an important soft power tool in China’s diplomacy.
